i cut myself while i was trying to saw apart a block of frozen meat. i should have let it thaw earlier, but i thought: heyyy how hard could it be? well, pretty hard. first i used a chopping knife, then i used a steak knife with the serrated edge. then i decided to heat the knives, with the stove fire and hot water. then i went back to sawing, and in my final assault, i had the block on its edge, and used the chopping knife to split it down the middle,and i guess the middle finger of my left hand was in the way.
now i cant tak off my ring, or blood would ooze out. and its been 2 hours since it was cut, and its not sealed up yet, coz it was a diagonal slice into my finger. and i guess i nearly had a corner cut off..the good news is, i have feeling in the part that was sliced.
the bad news is:
- typing is hard!
- it bled a wholllleeee lot. my hand is still blood stained, and so was the kitchen floor!!
- finishing cooking the bolognese was hard. especially lighting the stove
- when i was my hair, would the strands get uner it and pull it up?!
- do i need disinfectant? i WAS cutting raw meat.
- the wound and blood tastes and smells a tinge of raw meat. which IS bloody, so that makes sense. but i remembered my blod tasting pretty yummy.
- ohhh noooo i just thought: as the skin dries out (hopefully it doesnt, but it looks like the edges would..), would it reopen my wound?

so i was thinking about karne milk. which, many of my friends have wasted their money on. i actually dont see the joy in its flavor. its plain sour. and its just sour milk. i mean, yogurt has something that you can appreciate, but karne milk??

well this morning i thought the weather forecast failed me and that it didnt snow. i even complained to people that it wasnt snowing..but it was! maybe i should have looked out of the window.
as usual the snow turned into rain. and today in london there was hugeeee snowwwwww. and the cardinals won the superbowl!yay!

today there was also the ING sportitive case (what kind of a name??) it was fun, too bad i wasnt there for the negotiation part, i would have aced it. plus it was in english. the other part was playing this warped version of captails ball. at first i was refereeing and rather confused, but i got the hang of it, then in the second time we had the game, i played. oh i remember the times in orientation camp for smu i scared the shit outta the opposition team. muahahaha..that was fun.. the player that was in the same area as me was some chinese guy more than a head taller than me and he didnt dare come close to me after deciding bumper cars is not how he could play. this time the people were not so easily intimidated, well except marin coz he knows my capabilities.and the girls. but they werent that involved in the jostling for the ball until later. we won the second game... yay!
then leaving laurentius house for my dutch course was a mini head spinner. i backtracked, then realized i was facing a bunch of identical red doors around me, turned to find no one in the hallway to help. luckily the first door i tried (the one right in front of me) was correct! hehehe..

i found the big(ger) snail thats in my fish tank! i thought it crawled out..and now its bigger than before..but its little(r) friend is still missing..

well its the year of the ox..
yesterday(sunday, i knwo the time stamps are working on sg time though i am in rotterdam) i was in utrecht visiting robert and kyoko..we went to an rink to ice skate, and i discovered that nicole skates there!  also that i might find it helluva lot easier to do tricks on ice than on the ground with my roller blades.. and that if i had been using good skates (vs the rentals) i probably could have done more. worrying about how the back section of my right blade seems to be dull and slippery does not make for very good skating.. kyoko is good at it, she has her own skates too!
i was just at the international house visiting sani..poor girl has twisted her knee 3 times. and i think the international house is not bad.. well, except for the toilet. and i bumped into jinglin too! what a coincidence..

tomorrow i will go play tennis with jacintha!
happy! but that does not look to be such a good idea, coz my calf muscles are starting to hurt from the skating..the boots made my feet sore, and i guess my calves are a more tired than they should be coz they were working to umm..support me properly through my feet pains?
does that even make sense...
im gonna try to make a video now.

hmm jesh got a blackberry, i wanna get one too.but then im considering the fact that i would have to get one in holland? which would be a pain..
i saw a documentary on animal planet, which involved a realllyyy colorful flat lizard. its called Broadley's Flat Lizard. i found some photos of it on a flickr page:


the males are really colorful, and at some national park, there is a big population, coz the river has loads of blackflies in it, and they leap acrobatically to catch them. when i first saw them all i could think of was that maybe someone went and dyed the lizards,.and also that those cartoons made might be based on them..
